A girl who wants to write just about anything. The whole thing is fascinating to me endlessly. To see where characters and stories come from and to see how far of a journey you can go on that you create. I concentrate a ton on characters, it's the base I like to lay before diving into building a house.
A site I have going with graphics on it for a friend and I can be found here (http://throughthewo ods.tripod.com/index .html) Myspace: (myspace.com/rachsal ia) Livejournal: (http://bookburned.l ivejournal.com/profi le)

A Stranger's Call (Story Form Sample)
-----------------------------
“How ya doin'
young lady
The feeling that you gave me really drives me crazy
You don’t have a player on your trunk
I was at a loss of words
First time that we spoke
You might be the type if I play my cards right
I'll find out by the end of the night
All I can do is try, gimme one chance
What's the problem? I don't see no ring on your hand
I be the first to admit it, I'm curious about you, you seem so innocent
Promiscuou s girl
Wherever you are
I'm all alone
And it's you that I want
Promiscuous girl
You're teasing me
You know what I want
And I got what you need”
“Roses are red
Some diamonds are blue
Chivalry is dead
But you're still kinda cute
Promiscuous boy
You already know
That I'm all yours
What you waiting for?”
"Promiscuou s Girl" :: Nelly Furtado
Chapter One
The bartender’s eyes slid down the
woman’s shirt as she leaned over the bar her brown eyes flashed back at him.
You could almost see the cartoon hearts around his head. It was obvious he was
having trouble filling orders with her at the bar. He walked over running hi
hand through his hair. She held in a giggle but he did not seem to notice it.
He walked over to stand in front of her leaning on the bar with an elbow with
his best cool face.
“So…what
would you like to drink?” He tried to keep his voice smooth doing his best
impression of James Bond.
“Just
some water please, bottled.” She grinned and leaned further. The bartender’s
eyes almost popped out of his head. He frowned for a second as her order
registered finally. He frowned for a second and turned to find some water in
the fridge behind the bar. He set the bottle on the bar. She went to take some
money out of short dark red skirt. The bar tender leaned forward a little
examining her outfit. She turned back and he rolled back onto his feet.
An
orange light poured in from outside settling the light around her a shadow
blocked the light for a moment then the door shut again. She laid a dollar on
the bar.
“Thanks,
my name is Red.” The bartender smiled leaning closer to her as she took a drink.
“Jeff.
I’ve never seen you here before.” There was a inner eye roll she tried to hide.
On the outside she leaned in closer to him with a smile across her face.
“You
mix drinks with such precision, very good job.”
“Really?
You think so?” His eyes got wider and a sm...More >>
