First and foremost, I'm the mother of three rambuncious boys. I've been married for twelve years to a wonderful man that has been in the army for the last seven years(We've done our tour of Iraq).
Every spare minute I have in my hectic schedule is spent at my computer daydreaming in a fantasy world I've created. I prefer writing romance genre, though have tried my hand at a few fantasy/horror. I prefer the happy endings though sometimes it doesn't turn out that way. Hope you enjoy some of the excerpts I put on here from current novels (projects) I'm working on.
I've been writing since high school(Wow, fifteen years now). Started with poetry and short stories. And now I find it hard to contain myself to a few thousand words. When writing I'm considered a scatterbrain of sorts, I can juggle anything from one to eight novels at any one given time (Could be why it takes me forever to finish one, lol). But for the most part I'll take one idea and run with it for as long as I can before starting a new one.
If you're interested in reading more than the chapters of some of my novels I've put on here, contact me and I'll see about getting you the chapters you want to read.
Other than that, thank you for reading my blogs and giving me feedback. Everyone here seems to participate a lot more than some of the people on myspace.com.
I'd like to add that recently my first novel has been published, Explosive Reaction. It is a thoroughly amazing story. My grandfather's only comment when my grandmother got her copy was that he didn't know I had it in me. It's available through amazon.com and barnesandnobles.com. I'm just grateful to be able to share my brainchild with everyone.
Thanks & Best Wishes,
Jackie

Interests
Activities: Writing, reading, raising my kids, & cooking! I like coming up with new desserts.
Favorite Music: I'm ecclectic, I listen to just about anything excepts vulgar materials. I absolutely love Bach, Vivaldi, and Mozart. My favorite bands include Lifehouse (which my husband took me to see in concert for my birthday this year) and Daughtry!
Favorite TV Shows: Grey's Anatomy, hands down. CSI. CSI:Miami. Crossing Jordan. Most Evil. Pretty much any investigative show.
Favorite Movies: Romantic comedies. Suspense. I absolutely loved the movie Fracture. And I'm an anime fan! Always the kid at heart!
Favorite Books: I'm not biased on books. I plan on buying The 9th Day written by my fellow impster Lisa Olson. My read pile is huge at the moment. I've got both Leslie Kelly's new releases, Slow Hands & Heated Rush to read. Janelle Dennison's Wild for Him, and Toni Blake's Letters to a Secret Lover to read.
Influences: My family is the major influence in my life. These are some of my favorite authors: Danielle Steele, Johanna Lindsey, Debbie McComber, Leslie Kelly, Janelle Denison, Dana Marton. However, anything is worth reading at least once.

on writing: from the depths-chapter 5
Scott, this is a fine piece of work. I was totally into it. I love the way you worked the tail into a useful appendage that added to the eroticism. This is great stuff. Thanks for sharing.

You've done an excellent job of displaying a classic paradox: loving that which is feared, (or at least should be feared). This is great stuff. Thanks for sharing.

The Hunters: Eye for an Eye
-----------------------------
Leaning back in the big black leather chair, a weary hand ran down his face. He hadn’t heard a word from Shaw since he’d tracked that last mark to Texas. How much trouble could a secretary be to handcuff and bring back to Atlanta? Maddox Montgomery’s cold gray eyes lifted as the door opened off his office. The office was attached to his cabin. It had an interior and exterior exit. The man that stood in the doorway looked uncertain.
“Can I help you?” The southern drawl had the man looking in his direction.
“I’m looking for The Hunters,” the man said quietly.
“Yeah, that would be me,” Maddox returned reaching for his coffee.
“The name suggests more than one,” the man returned.
“Are you with an agency? A department? We don’t work for milk money around here and we damn sure don’t answer questions, we ask them,” returned Maddox.
“My name is Gray Everhart,” the man returned. Maddox recognized the name. The man was a multimillionaire that had moved to Atlanta a few years ago and had taken over some of the largest renovation projects around Atlanta. Projects meant to revitalize the city.
“Well, what brings you to my doorstep? I thought I read somewhere that today you’re supposed to be getting married,” Maddox muttered distastefully. He had no use for women. They were a drain on him and his money.
“That’s the problem, my fiancé took off last night after the rehearsal dinner,” said Gray dryly. “I want you to find her and bring her back. At the very least I deserve to know why. Whatever her reasons are.”
“Hire a detective.”
“I thought about that, but she might not be willing to return voluntarily. She’s quite stubborn when it comes to getting her way,” Gray muttered reaching into the folder he held and produced a letter. “That is a letter of intent should the law question you. I’m willing to pay you whatever price you set.”
Maddox took the letter, his gray eyes moving over it. A thin frown became noticeable on his lips when he read the woman’s name. “Holly Ashburn?”
“Yes.”
Maddox’s lips curled into a slight smile. “Is she from Atlanta?”
“As far as I know,” Gray returned.
Maddox threw the letter onto his desk. “Half a million dollars and I’ll see to this personally. You won’t get one of my grunts.”
“Accepted .”
“Give me three months and I’ll call you with a location to meet me,” Maddox muttered as Gray reached into the file setting a glossy photo down within Maddox’s line of sight. Maddox reached for it sl...More >>
