I am rather obsessive about creating.

I love all art forms but am primarily a writer. I self-published my first book--an absurdist satire which might be described as a cross between a noir detective story and Monty Python--and it did quite well. I was carried at most bookstores in Chicago, a Tower Records in Tokyo, an art gallery in Australia, and a tattoo parlor in San Francisco plus 38 other bookstore around the U.S. I'm deep at work on my second novel, and I feel the groove. (Dig it.) It will be a dramatic departure from my first book--a more fantastical trip into a very strange place. (Much like my sock drawer.) I also perform improv and will be doing a run of shows in Chicago at the improvOlympic Theatre in Lakeview. Plus there's painting, sculpting, voice over, acting, you name it, i've probably done it. I'm a tad compulsive about art. Here's to hoping our species doesn't destroy itself and most of the species on the planet. cheers.
