Hello Music World. The name is Jaheil, "Jah Water" at times. Originally from the Bronx, I am 19 years wise and live in Miami. I rap... And that's as far as I will go with that because chances are you will hear me sooner or later anyway.
I have a promo CD out called "Tomorrow? the mixtape". It's a collabo of myself and my partners with a compilation of freestyles and songs where I did all of the recording and mixing and most of the producing on the creative side (songwriting; I don't make beats). You can check out the mixtape at www.datpiff.com, just type in 'tomorrow?' or 'jaheil' in the search box. On most of the tracks, I'm the second voice; the one who you're going to say kind of sounds like Jay. No myspace stuff thus far, just writing and working on a project I plan to rise in late 2008.
Hip-hop. I love it; I live it. Although musically, my all-time inspiration is Michael Jackson, I was raised by Biggie, Jay-Z, and Nas. The Wu-Tang and Fugees era was my favorite time in Hip-hop. I think Lauryn Hill and Wyclef are Gods, Rakim is a prophet, Common is the truth, Andre 3000 is a genius, Joe Budden is underrated, and I'm pretty much the Second Coming.
My heart and mind are devoted to touching people through sound waves. In a nutshell, Jaheil is just a young truth-seeker who tries to expose life's ills and everyday situations in a creative, yet entertaining way. I do a lot of fun music as well but I’m not too interested in the fame and glory. I do want to have a good time doing what I love, but I just want to be important. My goal is to inspire; money is just a bonus.
That's enough about me.
