From early childhood Ebony has been in the spotlight. Born the eldest of six children, from a young age Ebony had to be the one to set examples, whether by being a good student or singing his heart out in church. He was born in the small town of Seaford, Delaware and moved to the bustling metropolis of Washington D.C. in the late 80’s. The change in environment helped to shape the man he is today. He was able to see people from so many different places and this helped him to develop his style. In a world where so many people from different races and creeds come together there is only one language that all understand. That language is love. That is what Ebony’s music is about. His philosophy is, “Of all the instruments, the voice is the most haunting, the most expressive. The voice is the sound closest to our soul. We remember voices with chilling recall. The voice of a lover echoes in our ear long after the love is gone. Eb, as friends call him, is the sovereign of casual. His tall lanky frame covered by sweats, sneakers and baseball cap, he looks like a Basketball pro ready to roll over to the gym at a moment's notice. He enters the studio with his producer TC-1 and friend/confidant Sincere to work on a few tracks for his upcoming album with the diligence of a soldier getting ready for war. This quick-witted comedian at heart works and creates like a madman.
