My name is Vanessa and I'm the newest member of the IMPnow team/staff. Being able to work on a site that fosters incredible talent is something I definitely feel proud to be a part of.
I've been surrounded by creative and passionate people my entire life; musicians, artists and photographers. As for my own passion, a few years ago, I picked up a love of photography which I do mainly as a hobby and preferably with analog/low-fi cameras. I also enjoy doing bead work (necklaces and bracelets).
I can't wait to get to know more of you and wish everyone great success in their endeavors.

Thanks for adding me! Nice to meet someone else new on here. I'm assuming that by low-fi photography you mean non-digital. That's cool, I totally agree. I couldn't achieve most of the effects that I do with digital photography, plus I hate the shutter delay.

Yep, although low-fi is a step down from non-digital. It's mainly not worrying about settings and such and just shooting with cameras that are very limited (ie Polaroids, Lomographic cameras, etc) not the giants like canon and nikon.
If anything, it's for people to pretend they are photographers...beca use I really don't consider myself one at all, just someone who enjoys capturing memories on film.
