I have recently been doing THE SHUBBY SHAND SHOW ON BLOGTV.COM
as the Creator ,Writer and Host of this online Comedy show since October 14,2007. airing Every Saturday at 11pm eastern 8:00pm Pacific. I also wrote under the name D.G.Smith the play “Hands of Mercy” which was presented at, The Summer 2006 Strawberry One Act Festival at Producer Club II, NYC. Some of his others plays are “Turn Off The Waterworks Toby” which was a 2006 One act finalist in the Maxim Muzumdar New Play Competition, held by the Alley Theatre Buffalo NY, “Compassion From Mr. Marble” On the Thrown at CBGB” and “Payne Street. I Started writing in 1996, with a comedy recording called “Shubby Shand Punish Me Mommy”, for Tin Pan Alley Studios NYC, which I will be reworking, for a later release. When not writing, have done stand up comedy at Stand up NY and the Comedy Cellar. I have also acted creating the role of Duncan Brady in the Off –Off Broadway Premier of “The Buttcracker”,played, the Minister of Culture in “Phantom”, at Carousel Dinner Theater, Akron Ohio, and played six characters in “The Dinning Room” by A.R. Gurney for M&M Productions Yorktown NY. I reside in New York. with my 69 year old Mother. Yes I am a Momma's Boy! And Proud of It! Oh My God ! Am I Talking out Loud?
