The 78 Gates!



A Poetry and Graphic Project.





My mission in taking up this project is to get to know the
Tarot better, much better. No just running my hands over it anymore, I’m gonna
get all up in it. One of my goals is to know Tarot backwards and forwards by
the time I move, or a little after. It’s one of the things I really want to
include in my shop idea in Washington.
So it is obviously important I take the time to learn it.



The steps in no specific order will be to read about the
card and learn some of its history from a few places and compare. Then I want
to write a poem about each card and sort of how I see its meaning and how it
has shown itself to me.



Then hopefully the next step will be Graphics. The graphics
are just more for me and my own happiness than the project. I was really happy
with the last graphic that I did for a card so I thought I’d add this part in.
It really made me want to write something out, a story something. I think I
might do a sestina type story for it.



I have no timeline for this project particularly except just
actually work on it. I have one done as of right now and it just sounds like a
really cool project for me.
