About Me

Santos was born Chicago,IL on March 2nd,1988. And ever since a young age showed interest in music. Since he was young he wrote and performed at a young church camp known as the "Owatta Club." At the age of 7 he wrote there theme song they used for many years after that. Growing up from city to city, house to house, neighbors to neighbors. Santos realized alot of things and experienced alot of "learning experiences." It wasn't till the age of 12 when he really experienced a life threatning experience.Where he was diagnosed with "Type 1 diabetes." At a time hen the Doctor said if he went one more night without medical care he wouldn't be here today. Growing over the years Santos learned everything from Dj'ing, Production, Song-Writing, And Composing. Santos knows what he wants and goes for it. He knows what it's supposed to sound like, and won't stop till it does. Santos has seen many occasions of life and death. And constantly repeats to anyone he see's. "It's not what we do in life, But what they remember us by." Santos is dedicated to his craft and is dedicated to surpass any genre he attaches his mind too. People constantly ask if he's a Rapper, and he replies. "No,Im an Artist. I paint pictures with my words and my career will not be held down by one genre. I will expand everybodies first take on DPrived." DPrived being such a negative word was distilled on him
from a young one and has kept with him all these years. Santos is not Santos,Without DPrived. People constantly ask him to define what it means.and he will willingly give you a witty comment as to say. "The game is DPrived of me!" But it's far from just that. DPrived is a statement and state of mind,a person's emotions to whatever they feel they've been kept away from or can't touch.
