“THE BIO”
Born December 6, 1985, DJ MIXX is fresh new talent blazing from the hot streets of Miami, Florida that will impact keeping 305 on the map. As far as he can remember, DJ MIXX has been working and dealing with music since his early childhood years, as his father kept the households of the neighborhood dancing weeknights on one of the only underground radio stations in the south Dade area. Yeah, I guess you can say it’s in his blood. As the years go by, experimenting with his father’s equipment, DJ MIXX forced his way to learn how different beats and rhythms blend together. To some people it would be a little difficult to figure out, and with no means of changing the pitch and speed of a song, it all came natural to him. Ok, enough about the “DJ”, let’s talk about the “PRODUCER”!!!! With the knowledge of what rhythm was, and how beats per minute work, DJ MIXX took his curiosity about music to another level. It was in junior high school that he joined the school’s symphonic band, playing the sexiest instrument of them all, the tenor saxophone. It was then his interest for music took a turn that would lead him to be educated about time signatures, key changes, measures and actual notes on paper. So for three years in junior high school, band became his life. It wasn’t until his sophomore year in the high school band (2002), he would be considered to most students, a band geek, and where his LOVE for music was discovered.In the future this multi-talented writer/producer plans to change the music industry by influencing the business in a positive way.Unlike many other writer/producers that boast about their talents, there is no need for excessive bragging with DJ MIXX, he’ll just let his MUSIC tell the rest.
