Hello my name is ChrisMoses Tolliver,
I am a young very talented oil painter with a passion for art. I was born May 6,1982 in Macon County, AL to the loving parents of Francine Tolliver and Sammy Townsend. Most of my life I was back and forth between Michigan and Alabama. From traveling a lot I saw many wonderful things, and at a young age I began to draw.
When I was in the 4th grade there was an Art Contest at the school I was attending, Union Springs Elementary. I drew a picture of an artist holding his pallet painting a picture. I won third place in the art contest and discovered my developing talent and love for the art culture. From that point on I was always found time to paint or draw. Constantly finding ways to enhance my suddenly discovered talent.
Throughout high school I participated in numerous art projects. Homecomings, pep rallies, parades; nine times out of ten I either designed or helped design the signs and decorations for those events. My art teachers always put me on the hardest projects. They knew this would make me better at things I thought I was already good at. My high school art teachers at Bullock County High; Mr. Williams & Mrs. Loretta Reynolds, inspired and amazed me with their own art abilities that they possessed.
Ms. Reynolds was the one individual that I can definitely say, encouraged me during my high school years. She always had words of inspiration and pushed me to take my art to higher levels. Every year in my hometown there is a city fair called the Chunnenugge Fair. This is where my art received its first initial debut in an art show at the Bullock County Heritage Museum. Mrs. Reynolds hosted this art show and encouraged me to enter and display my art in this event. Pictures of my art were taken and shown in the loca
